O2 sensor 5 wire wideband vs OE oxygen sensor?

Looking to replace the upstream O2 sensors and am a bit confused based on the wide pricing gap on sensors..

the "upstream" sensors seem to be universal for the front and rear banks and they are the only ones I need (no cats), but the two options I see are the NGK 24348 wideband sensor that goes for nearly $300 and the Bosch 17475 that says it is OE equivalent.

the upstream sensors don't seem to be part numbered for front or back banks, just upstream. Do I need the wideband or just the OE equivalent sensor?

I would definitely get OEM sensors...They are calibrated for the voltage scale for LAMBDA that is sent to the ECU

The primary O2 sensors are the same for bank 1 and bank 2 but often the part numbers will be different because the length of wire is different.

Ok, but there are two different types of O2 sensors listed for the upstream sensors, yet they don't say what sensor is for what bank. You say I need one wideband 5 wire sensor?

I have the rear O2 sensors deleted and don't have cats, so I only have to run the upstream sensors. Should I get one wideband and one of the less expensive non wideband O2?

Both primary 02 sensors are wideband....thats the problem with rock auto sometimes....and ive been seeing a lot of bad reviews from rock auto in terms of wrong items in incorrect packaging

The primary 02 sensors are different lengths im pretty sure so there should be 2 motorcraft part numbers

AJP Is there a different or better site that you can recommend to us? but must admit they do have some of the best prices around .  Z

The upstream sensors are likely identical for each bank, is why there is only 1 part number.  If there are different part numbers for each bank, it is usually due to a difference in pigtail lengths.

I replaced the front upstream 02 sensor last Saturday with a Bosch 17321 from Rock Auto, it looked identical to the original and the car runs well. Looks like the part number is different for the 2010's (17475), don't know why though.
