how do i swap in a LS1 into this thing?

Now that I got your attention, Hello! I'm new here.

2015 almost fully loaded (no self parking BS, i learned how to park a long time ago) Bronze Fire SHO with PP and zero mods.

loving the heck out of this car cept the terrible "premium Sony Stereo"

2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Nice color choice!

I have found the Sony to be way mid heavy. I turned the mid all the way down. adjusted my lows and highs, then brought up the mid a bit. I know everyone's ears are different but I think i settled at -4 on the mid which freed up some power for the highs and lows. Other than wishing for a little more low end, I'm good with how it sounds now.

One day I will install this amp/sub to remedy that issue.
