this is a 2 bar 15 psi tune and at 1lb of boost launch the car spins for about four feet with lots of smoke.
poor summer only tires-even at  negative -.07  it spins like the cars on gravel launching.
car shuts down tune if i try to boost at like 5 lbs- are there any tunes that remedy that?

sct really needs to update the descriptions in the 2016 code - it makes it a lot harder to adjust without flipping back and forth between the updater  to show 2014 tunes and descriptions

cant wait for the final revision to got 3 bar then alky tune .

I would suggest getting a datalog in 3rd gear, and one WOT for atleast 1-3 as that will tell you more info. Make sure to log your OAR, KR, speed, load, spark, A/F parameters (bank 1 or 2), and fuel pressure parameters.

Also if trying to brake boost launch, the car will get mad if held too long, as it has a safety feature for this. it will be less mad at you if the traction control is all the way off, but still angry at you.

My car used to spin like mad on launches, and still does occasionally, but my tune has been smoothed out a little as far as bringing in full boost, so that I can hook and then go all out.

i dont believe speed was a logged at first- everything else ya
how long is too long (IE is time-or boost pressure /waste gate value or is there a setting to adjust ceiling or awd etc) to go all out
it never shut down in stock tune but im sure it also never went over 9lbs stock either(maybe 11 on a below freezing day doubtful)
i also have the trans shift set to 6000 and have left it there anybody use a different setting?

Are you PP or a non-pp?

There is a certain point where traction is a big issue with these cars. I know my non-pp was VERY front biased in low traction scenarios. This is much different than the 20/80 split my BMW had. (20 front 80 rear) There were a few times where Traction Control kicked in and I got some serious tire shake In the front with a lot of gear unhappiness.

If you're using SCT's can tune get ready for random check engine lights.

Also, our AWD system sucks.  It's only capable of sending around 150ftlb of torque to the rear wheels so don't expect miracles.

I was at the track where the ground temp was in the 30s and the pit area was totally muddy, wet, and sandy. There were wet spots on the track as well that the operators had to use propane torches to dry off. I launch at about 2200-2300 RPM and never have any issues with traction, even with the worn out Badyear Eagle RS-A tires. At most the tires will chirp, or spin a few revs, then off I go. If you are leaving smoky burnouts, something is wrong.

or extremely right!
anyway so launch with rpm instead of boost?
thats new to me- ill try it

we have a bigger inter cooler than an f150 & i would expect my i/c temps to be lower than 79 to 136 on a 40 degree day sheesh.
need alky bad

I'm not sure what your tuner did with the driver demand tables. I just increased my values at the WOT position. GM does the same thing with their Stage 1 kit on the LNF engines. There shouldn't be any reason to run a ton of boost at low throttle positions or very low RPM conditions. I actually reduced torque demand on the LNF in normal driving conditions (reduced boost) for better fuel economy.

My IAT2 temps are fairly high as well even with the colder air temps. We have relatively small intercoolers, and they are sandwiched behind the A/C condenser (maybe even the radiator - I can't see it).

On something like my Cobalt SS Turbo, the large stock intercooler is at the lowest part out in the front, so it sits where the SHO's Performance Package aux trans cooler would sit (right behind that lower grille opening).
