Please enlighten us with your shenanigans...
EDIT: What this tells me is that our ECUs are a bit more robust than I thought...
What it tells me is that the SCT device is poorly designed. There shouldn't be a case of a tune not loading.
Yes, I'm still bitter regarding my call to their inept/rude customer service department regarding my tuner running the defrost vent on high during a flash and the fuel gauge reading zero afterward. Have had tuners on numerous vehicles and never had these sorts of issues. Nor have I spent hours on the phone with a rude customer service person to have a call end by them telling me they would research and be back in touch by the end of the day to only have them never call me.

Yes, there are tables I guess that SCT allows you to manipulate, and if your strategy doesnt support certain tables they are blacked out? Anywho... One of the values that are related to the Advanced Traction Control if modified causes the ecu to crash... The device reports back that everything is good, but when I tried to start the car it wouldn't kick over... Then the solenoids under the hood would open and close continuously... When I attempted to revert back to stock the SCTX4 would error out saying it was not married to my car...
I was able to use the mycal from LMS to rewrite ECU with the stock tune file... But SCT support had to provide a rescue file to unlock the SCTx4 again...
Brad still has some ideas though....
