Final Drive Axle Ratio???

It's not a huge jump in gearing but with a big car it does make a difference.  My Marauder was a pig with OEM 3.55's.  I put 3.73's and barely noticed a difference.  Once I slapped 4.10's in it the difference was huge with everything I did, auto-x, drag, I even did a small open track session with it.  Big cars love the gear.

Z is a former Beemer-ite (is that a word?), so the M designation is appropriate and denotes Mastery.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Right so my car comes with 3.16, well in my case, when I want to tune, shall I raise it? and is there a certain level to be able to auto-x and to do much better in a drag race?
