For what it's worth, My LEDs do the gradual smooth dimming thing over 4-5 seconds... not like the vid

Contacted the vendor regarding my flashing problem - they determined that the bulbs are not compatible with the Taurus and are offering a refund.  I'm shipping them back this week.

Makes me wonder if this is a 2014 issue. Would you guys mind posting a link to the EXACT bulbs that you are using without issues?  I plan to pick up those bulbs for my 2014 to see if they work.

Thanks again!

Hey watts, that is pretty normal with most LED bulbs, the Taurus drops the voltage to dim the interior lights when turning off and turns it up slowly. Most LEDs you will find do that blinking thing instead on dimming smoothly. The LEDs I now have in mine I ordered from V-LEDs and the do dim smoothly except the center dome light in the rear (a larger LED) has a slight buzz when its dimming (hardly noticeable). I also went with 5K color for the interior as I found with the 6K color was harsh for my eyes was personally when reading something in the car. Although the 6K's can be almost matched with the mood lighting in the SHO :). The video was taken with my iPhone and it seems more than it is, to the naked eye the steps in the dimming is barely noticeable. Here is a vid to mine. I'm not sure if it's related to the load as much as it's related to the type of LEDs used. Some led's are dimmable and some don't like it.

Hah; if that was what he meant by his LED's acting up -- we all got that.

Mine do NOT dim smoothly and the reason being they are diodes. They can't step quite right like incandescent bulbs. Some do; some don't.

I could care less what they do when dimming--I just want them to be great when they are on.

Sorry about that geswek (I didn't go through all 14 pages) , ya I don't have any issues when they are on never did. And I have had all kinds of LED's in mine and when they are on they are on. Weird, can't help you there. Although this guy sells canbus LED's in 194 size and maybe that's what you need. I have bought some stuff from him in the past. Dunno, sorry bud. I find that really weird.

I'm not the one with issue; some other user who was posting on here earlier.

My LED's are fine -- still working strong.

Interior looks amazing as hell at night!

Not all LED are created equal, eBay on the left V-LEDs on the right. These are the bulbs in mine now.

Now my switchbacks that's been a pita lol. I will be posting about that one in a different thread.

Yeah, I went Super Bright LED for all mine. They are great and their LEDs are all same. I had some issues and they would send me replacements without question.

Great group of guys.

I just ordered the same bulbs that geswek used.  I'll report back on the result.

Ok - another issue that i'm not sure if it's related to the bulbs i'm using or not.  I noticed today that the interior overhead bulbs aren't coming on when i unlock with the fob or when the doors open.  This may be related to the bulbs I'm using (new ones are on the way).  I was cleaning the car over the weekend and I wiped down the interior - perhaps I hit a button that turns off the courtesy lights?  I looked around and don't see anything obvious?  Does anybody know if the courtesy lighting can be enabled/disabled?
