I was 1/2 interested in maybe picking these up for my reverse lights, but am I reading the ad correctly?

Are these nearly $45 per bulb? 

Which I'll add, doesn't even include the shipping costs factored in. 

So $100 all said, for 2 reverse lights, that I'll use about...... never. 

Holy Moly, I was going to get them, too, but 3 days ago they were only 35 bucks a piece...I'm going searching to see if I can find them at something close to a sensible price....
I think we should stay away from that guy's e-Bay page, because someone is smoking crack there!

Yes, the price went up -- but sheesh read the damn ad; they are for a "PAIR".

I bought them for $27 for (2); seller just racked it up to $45 for (2).

Still almost doubling the price does seem a bit greedy, and I have to admit I did not read that it was for a pair...I did find this at Amazon, it's $5.00 less, it is the same bulbs and appears to be free shipping.

This was where I was looking to get the reverse HIDs.  Not offering on EBay right now, I think.  The main difference is in rampup time.  This kit was "instant on" vs other similar HID kits that take up to 3 seconds to reach full power.  A similar offering on Amazon (still researching):

Well, you've had these in for a bit now...are they worth the money?  And now that you've had them, what's the most you'd pay for a pair?

I just ordered all mine from superbrightleds.com and will hopefully be receiving them this week.  The tail lights are the last ones on the list below.  I don't know maybe they won't work, I'm no expert on lighting that's for sure. My SHO is a 2013 for the record.

Make sure you make a trip to Radio Shack for the resistor or your dome lights won't work right.

So I take it you are remaining noncommittal on what you feel your reverse bulbs are worth?  I asked earlier what the most you would be willing to pay for them and if you felt they were worth $40.00 a pair?

Yes; I would pay that much for them -- they are worth it in my opinion.

If you can spend extra $50 I would get HID's tho.

I am planning to move to HIDs myself and retire the LED's.

Yeah when I asked storm about his LEDs on evay , they where markup stupid then back down to $27 for the pair, which is reasonable.

Am I blind but are there really HID reverse lights? I have a set of the reverse lights above I am about to order on amazon.. I don't mind the cree ones I have now but they are more spot pattern than flood, these look a hell of a lot better.  But if there is an aftermarket option I am overlooking I am willing to spend the money, pulling trailers and backing up at night is worth it to me.
