Is the chrome trim removable on the SHO lower grill?

Is the chrome trim removable on the SHO lower grill? I want to remove it or black it out. I'm running an interceptor upper grill which is all black, I'd prefer not to have any chrome on my car but ford knows better apparently.

Thoughts? Options?

I don't believe it is removable. However, I plastidipped mine and it has held up nicely. That is a good option for blacking it out I believe.

The chrome is not removable.  Well, it sort of is, but it would leave holes/slots where the clips go.

I also have a black SHO and hate chrome.  I went with an interceptor upper grille, and the one shown below for the lower grille.  It's darker, and has no chrome.
