Had a new '13 GT, traded for a used '14 SHO, missed the GT and traded for a barely used '16 5.0 ...

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Ford GT's are a little out of my price range. Check that, they're wayyyy out of my price range. :-)

At stoplights up to 100mph at least, I destroy them too...even at the track

I'd say it's all about traction.  From a dig, my fox body would have to play catch up with my un-tuned, stock MKS.  I'm sure that, with some killer help, my MKS will then be able to hold it off for quite awhile.

That being said, horsepower to weight ratio becomes an issue at higher speeds.  My fox body dyno'd at 532 whp and weighs 3150 lbs.  There's no way for ANY heavy modern car to hang with it at speed unless it puts down a LOT more HP.

The crazy thing is that my fox body isn't even fast by today's standards.

I've never owned a stock Mustang for more than a few days though.  The aftermarket and potential is just insane!

Let's try to not have this deteriorate into a "X" vs. "Y" debate, that would be immature (and makes no sense, apples and oranges).

All I can say is this is the 10th Mustang I've owned over the last few decades. I used to race them, so it's all good.
