I am probably selling my SHO and probably picking up a Flex Ecoboost. I want to use my SCT tuner I bought to tune my SHO with. I want to put the SHO back to stock and put the 2-bar back in. How do I "unmarry" the tuner to use in the new vehicle?

I'm pretty sure that by returning your car to "stock" you will unmarry the tuner from the vehicle.  I also believe there is a limited number of times you can marry it to other vehicles...5 I think.  Now, returning the same car to stock and back to tuned again does not count as a complete unmarry....only when the strategy code/ECU/VIN changes.

Also, remember to switch out your 3 bar for the stock 2 bar BEFORE loading it back to stock to be safe.

Oh yes....I kept the 2 bar in a box for that exact same reason. Always knew that my kids would probably outgrow the SHO. The 14 year old son is 6'1" now and that back seat makes him grumpy!

No one likes a 6'1" grumpy teenager....especially a 6'1" grumpy teenager.  :D

A Flex should cure the grumpies in the rear.
