Hello all,

I have owned my 1995 Ford Thunderbird since 2008 and have done quite a bit to it. She has a Ford Modular 4.6L V8, IRS suspension and is quite a tank on the road. Here are some things I have done to it..

SCT Tuned using X3 by Amercian Motorsport
1999 Mustang PBR brakes
FRPP 3.73 gears
Modified Trak-Lok
Steeda non-piggy UDP
K&N Panel
1990 SC Seats
2.5" Single Exhaust/Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cats
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S +, Windstar wheels
RichardM custom Intake
Kenwood KDC-HD552U HD Radio
2800 stall DirtyDog Marauder TC, J-MOD, 2002 Grand Marquis transmission
DynoTech Driveshaft
AeroForce Interceptor Scan Gauge
Griffin Super High Capacity Radiator
180* Thermostat
Cobra double wrapped steering wheel
6000K HID, Clear Corners

With my looming purchase of a Ecoboost Taurus, I am trying to figure out if this car stays or goes. I won't get much for it, so I am torn if I bother to try to sell it or not. I doubt that I will have the heart to do it but after I buy this next car, I will own 4 cars. Maybe I just need to take it to one of the car cruises for burn outs or the drags to make me fall in love again. LOL.

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful Bird!  Hope you can find a way to keep it :)
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Did you ever think about putting PI heads on it? I heard they were worth a good amount of power..

If I had a 1996-7 Thunderbird, it would have been done already. This one has an older design Modular, similar to early Crown Victoria and Town Cars.

That car is begging for a 32v swap.

I think it comes down to storage space.  The sad part is that, as you already mentioned, it's not worth much.  Nice car and I'm sure it's cool to own, but I think it would mostly have beater value to others.  That being said, you have a great start on a full blown project car.  Could just keep it and play with as time and finances afford.
