Took my SHO in to have the blend door actuator replaced today. While I was there I went to visit my buddy who's the GM so I could get a loaner car. Started shooting to s*** and asked what he felt my wife's 2008 Lincoln MKX Elite FWD was worth to him. He said he'd give me 12,800 for it with 69,000 miles on it. I was thinking we'd wait until June to do this but he just bought a white 2015 Sport with 21,000 miles on it. It has the nav option group and sunroof options. He will sell it to me for 34,200. Book on it is about 41,000. Now to talk the wife into pulling the trigger now instead of waiting. I don't think I'll find a better deal on a 2015 Sport.
Any thoughts on this? Although it's the wife's car I'll still tune it and some appearance modes but nothing too crazy. I'd love to get HID's going for her but would want to do it right like big money closer if it so. The Lighting Firm seems to be closed up so I'd have to find somebody that could do a good retrofit job.
