Just keep in mind that in addition to the infamous PTU vent leak, you can have trans-PTU seal leaks (fairly common) and PTU-driveshaft seal leaks (very rare, but has happened). Don't know if PTU-drive axle (output side) tend to leak, I don't think so. Best way to confirm what fluid is leaking is to take a sniff test along with a color check. PTU fluid smells pretty bad compared to trans fluid. PTU fluid will tend to be brown-dark brown in color, trans fluid will be pink-reddish. PTU fluid is also significantly thicker than trans fluid.
