Install of JLT oil seperator/catch can 2010-2015 Taurus SHO

I'm confused.... Why a different filter. What if you mount the wrong filter on the wrong side of the engine?...

I don't have one of these on my Xsport, but have 2 on my GT500 and just installed one on my Lightning.  I know the GT500 tends to fill the pass side fairly quick.

just installed, the left hose couldn't go under the hard AC line, had to go around it to the left, the 90 degree fitting angle wouldn't let me put the cover back on if I fished it through there. otherwise went fairly smooth. just started car and nothing blew up so im sure its fine

I guess this is a dumb question. I know this is a cheaper catch can setup, but is this just as good as the more expensive ones such as UPR?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Has anyone had any results with this kit on our platform?
I agree the simplicity of this kit is great.
Can you call it the clear winner when it hasn't been proven yet?

I guess not having to drill on my car is a big plus,sure felt bad for that newbie with a brand new X-SPORT,thats the very reason i did not install my Rx oil catch can which has been collecting dust over a year now,both are great products.IMO.  Z

Any updates on this yet? Does the JLT passenger side catch can work? Worth doing? I just don't want to put out 400 bucks for a fancy, even though well made dual catch can. Especially if the JLT works decent enough. Anybody?

Works for my 2016 with the updated composite cam covers.. After 4,000 miles my intake tract was completely clear of oil mist and the map sensor never got contaminated with oil.

Didn't JLT just come out with a revised catch can with a larger reservoir? Something like double the capacity of the old one which is very small.

I have a nice billet catch can from my G8 days and want to install on passenger like the JLT. I want to make my own set up. Doea anyone know the Ford part number for the  " supplied 1/2" push loc hoses" like the JLT unit? Thanks for any help. I would use the JLT unit but the can is tiny and 120 bucks when all I need is the hoses and push loc ends.
