These the stem-style (rather than band-style) sensors.  Are you replacing the sensors on your SHO, or putting them on a separate set of wheels or ...?  The 2011+ OEM sensors should be stem-style as well, likely the same frequency (315 MHz for domestic use).

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I will be getting a new set of wheels when the car arrives, and re-using the stock sensors for 4 of them (merely replacing the valve stems), but I will need a sensor for the full size spare, so I was hoping that these would work since they are what is used on the new mustangs. The SHO that I am getting is a 2015 so from what your saying I believe they will work? Thanks!

Also when I spoke to the dealer they said that I would have to purchase new valve stems for the 4 TPMS sensors that were being transfered, any idea on that? I may just get 5 new ones and keep those as spares.

I don't know if you absolutely NEED to have new valve stems if you are transferring the entire assembly, but if you are transferring just the sensor, then yes, get the new valve stems.  Usually, the new TPMS sensors will include the valve stems as shown in the pics.

A valve stem looks like this:

Do you happen to know a part number or source for getting valve stems? I have looked but am confused by whether or not the ones I am looking at will work.

Whats the reliability like on those? At that price they are basically the same price as the valve stem replacements I have found. That said I only need one full sensor, since I will have the 4 OEMs that just need new valve stems since im switching them from one set of wheels to another.

Seriously great price, Z!  Derf, it's a Schrader product, so it should be top quality.

Thanks guys! I just ordered 5 of them, and will just keep my OEM sensors as spares just in case!

I'm also curious on the results but you should be good to go based on the cross reference of the part number,9L3Z1A189A             http://stores.revolutionparts.com/tascaparts.com/ford/taurus/9l3z1a189a/2014-year/sho-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/electrical-cat/tire-pressure-monitor-components-scat/?part_name=tpms-sensor                                           http://www.autozone.com/1/products/103242-tire-pressure-monitoring-sensor-20315-schrader-20315.html
