So far on my drive this morning it looks like I can state it's corrected the issue. Lots of different driving, from highway speeds to stop and go traffic. And some spirited corners. The max I got during the drive was 0.5 KR. Even after a decent heat soak. Last night I got a sudden spike on a "spirited" turn on my way home, 4.5KR it nearly gave me a heart attack as it trigger my alarm on Torque. The crazy thing is it went from -KR of 2.5 to positive 4.5 with no change to throttle input. Thats when I realized something else was going on. Over the past few weeks, I would get random spikes, I even got KR once by revving the engine with no load??? So to that end.... CHECK YOU WIRES lol.
Good news, this is!!! Wonder if Larry has checked his wires. If I recall, he was seeing some high #'s.

I'm thinking of this for sure. A long time ago I used zip ties to hold the wire away from the block but I only did the left side. I did not know that there was a sensor on the right side also. What is not adding up for me is that my readings change according to which tune I have loaded. Right now I'm stock and I'm getting  +1. With the 2 BAR 4+ I registered a +2. With 4X (3 bar) I registered the dreaded +7.  Makes any reason other than tune related a little little less likely.

Under the intake just after the TB. If you follow the fuel lines from the pump you will find it.

Alright thanks. I put wire loom around the driver side wires and attached it to the plug with a little high temp rtv so it won't move.

That's a little scary. Knock has gone down with each of my 3 tune revisions.

Now max I've seen is 1.5

Keep in mind I've been beating the s*** out of her.

Tank mpg finished at 14.8, lol.

Do yourself a favor and do some preventative maintenance and put some wire loom over those knock sensor wires when the car is cold.warranty or not the issue could arrise in the future costing you a fairly high price for labor to install new ones, will have to remove the top valve cover to get access to it,also the green and black wire is screwed down to the valve cover for ground, thats the wire that worries me the most, not getting the proper ground can cause a host of issues.

Tell me about it, I get freaked out when mine hit 4.5KR. Something isn't right there. Either really bad fuel, bad plugs, cake on the back if the intake valves or a tune revision is needed. Have you spoken to LMS?

Those wires go to a sensor of some kind. Or so it looks on my car. Not sure if they are knock related since it's on a fuel rail or something.

Then again i don't have the diagrams to confirm.
