This is something that is absolutely awesome to watch... ever wonder what we would look like if we hit a tree head on?

Ever wonder how the under body shifts around on a front impact?

this is pretty cool.

First of all, let me say that was an absolutely horrific video to watch, from the SHO's perspective :)

I am curious about:  how close is the head allowed to get to the steering wheel, does the air bag still have some cushioning ability left at that point?  Do the swiveling headrests affect the rebound in any way?
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Interesting that the video is titled SHO, but yet the sheets on the doors say SEL AWD: https://youtu.be/Jc5ZrliQLDc?t=96

The safercar.gov and IIHS.org websites have crash test ratings and videos for most cars available to everyone.

If you really want some scary footage find some small overlap crash test videos, it's a fairly new test and a lot of cars weren't designed to pass it with high scores.

Here's the one of my wife's 2014 XSport.  If you're going to hit something head on, aim for the center, it's probably safer
