Personally if I had E available and the fuel headroom, I'd run an E tune.

That being said, make sure you are logging for the specific fuel you plan to run with each tune.

I have both a 93 and E20 tune.

I also plan to get a 91 tune in case i drive somewhere lacking 93.

3rd gear seems to be the most taxing fuel wise so I'd want as much of third in the run as possible, especially for an E tune.

If you have corn in the tank most of the time, you're leaving some power on the table not having a specific tune.

Consider that in the time it takes to fill your tank, you can reflash for whatever situation you are presented if you have the right tunes on your device. I keep my x4 and 2bar in the car in case I can't get e for some reason or I have a failure and need to return the car to stock before the tow truck shows up.

Since you normally have E in the car, I'd get that E tune, datalog it in different conditions, especially when its cold, and get it dialed in. You don't have to be perfect on your blend, the trims will handle minor inconsistencies.
Good info. Thank you.
I do keep E 20ish in the tank at all times.
I'll sent Torrie these logs and have him adjust for an E20 tune since I already logged for it.

When I asked torrie about ethanol he told me not to run any with my 93 tune, i did anyways and the car did not run right after few wot pulls. Are u running ur 93 octane tune with the ethanol? Maybe your tune is not as aggressive as mine. (Dis about 15 logs and changes made)

yes approx e20 with my 93 tune. Been doing this for about 1 1/2 years without issue. But it is the standard 93 , boost , firm shift tune. I have not data logged until now.

Gotcha! Well good luck with data logging, I can tell you one thing, its a pain in the ass because if you want to perfect the tune you will need to do many and I mean MANY logs, I got 15 and I need to do more but should be close to perfect soon lol.

EDIT: The good news is there is plenty of power to be had with data logging.I noticed a big difference between just the base boost tune and after first few data logs. Every change he makes the car feels better/smoother/faster.

After 15 revisions that tune is probably pretty hot and dialed in perfectly for 93 and may not tolerate any fuel pressure hit.
