I have been reading Bpd's post in the how to section and will be following that to do 90% of the install, its that 10% that isn't included in the write up I have questions about.. This likely applies only to the ALKY/LMS kit:
1. How is the low fluid level wired in the methanol tank? Specifically, using the provided red LED from the kit and using the windshield washer fluid container as the new meth container. This isn't mentioned in any of the write ups or in the generic instruction manual given with the kit.
2. Regarding the battery relay, I deduced how it is wired, from the orange/black 2 wire connector on the ALKY Controller into a pair of black/red wires (I assume that back wire goes to a ground), the red wire goes into the relay, then comes out of the relay to the battery terminal. On that relay is also a grey wire and a black wire.. Again, I assume that smaller black wire coming from the relay is a ground, is the grey wire the one that needs to find a "key on" hot in the fuse box? I assume this is where BPD says to use fuse #46 inside the car?
This is a used kit, and I cannot rule out the possibility that I am missing a low fluid level sensor for the low fluid led, likely that is the case.
I have included a very rough, yet pleasantly color coded sketch of what I think right looks like.. The big ? for me is the lone red wire coming from the 6 pin connector on the ALKY Controller.. is that a 12v power source for the Low Fluid LED?
