Are the downstream O2 sensors both the same for the SHO?  I am looking to replace both of them but some manufacturers have listings as both being the same part number and others list them separately as "left" and "right" specific sensors.

Usually the differences btwn left and right are even in wire length, at most.  The sensor for both sides is otherwise the same.  Check the Motorcraft numbers, you will see.  If c you go with a brand that specifies L/R, better to get L/R, rather than 2 L's or 2 R's.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Both are excellent brands, NTK is OE (also excellent) I believe.

We prefer to stick with the OEM sensors from the dealer.  Nothing against aftermarket manufacturers, but we have proven time and time again that you get what you pay for.  These sensors were designed specifically for these vehicles and ensure the best quality fit, form, and functionality.  According to the diagram I have it shows front lower or rear lower are the only to Motorcraft part numbers listed.

The OEM is most likely Bosch.
You all would know :)  RockAuto still says NTK is OE equipment, could just be a carryover from the days of NB sensors.

No, its just that it seems like every time I try to track something down its Bosch.

They should just rename the car EcoBosch, lol...
