OK here's the deal got my car in April had this issue then thought it was a fuse and just kept forgetting about it. Well it finally popped In my mind with some down time and starting going through the fuses and not finding one blown . Do the mirrors go bad easy on these cars? Or did possibly the dealer pull a fast one on me? Electrical is not my strong suite with vehicles but I am good enough to figure some stuff out haven't gotten the multimeter on it yet.

Rearview mirror or side mirror not dimming?  Rainsensor is on Fuse 43 and Mirrors are on Fuse 13 in the passenger compartment fuse box.  I also see a Fuse 49 in the engine compartment fuse box for Heated Mirrors.

Was the windshield replaced at any time?  Possible then it was not an OEM replacement.  Also try disconnecting battery negative terminal, wait 30 min or so, reconnect.  PCM will have to re-learn, but it may bring the mirror/rainsensor functions back to life.  Check if battery is OEM and may be in need of replacement.  It would need to be tested with a modern tester that puts a load on it, not a simple DVM.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Checked the fuses windshield looks oem. It is the rearview autodimming not working. When I first went to look at the car they said it was in the service department to get the battery replaced so I had to return.

I will disconnect the battery to reset everything. I am also gonna have the load test done it just to be safe. I will get multimeter to the connector on the mirror as well and see what I can come up with on that.
