Issues they had before are gone after the cleaning- you figure it out.
Purely as a matter of interest, what were the issues the guys had?

I don't see how cleaning can hurt if you have the time... But what symptoms could it resolve?

I won't argue with you. Cleaning these often has proven benefits.

All I am asking for is what the benefits you know of are.... A simple exchange of knowledge is all... I would like to be educated, not to argue.

Clears up idle issues, and gas mileage issues.

I would highly recommend that the folks in this forum follow the other ecoboost forums. This engine has a ton of issues, but can work through most of them. Keep in mind this is a FINIKY engine.

For that matter, it is VERY handy to use search engines to traverse the internet :)  The problems with the longitudinal engines thankfully do not seem to occur as frequently with the transverse engines, but it could be a game of sheer numbers.  Most folks do not have buildup issues with the PCV system or in the CAC, but those who do have good luck with solutions such as lower volatility engine oil, catch cans, etc.  Modifying the CAC definitely has potential as a solution if the vehicle suffers the stutter issue, but it certainly should not be left open to the elements.  As BiGMaC suggested, put a petcock/drain valve on it.  You could also work with your dealer and see if Ford would spring for a valve cover replacement in this case.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

There is mo fix for the condensate issue - this is what the weep hole is for. Leave it open all the time since you never know when you are building condensate. With the hole, you are always pushing it out. It is the right thing to do.

Youve confinced me that ford is f**king stupid and really dropped the ball...ill believe u when i see mechanics on fords payroll drilling holes in peoples intercoolers.....guess what bud....u wont see that....but ive already seen the calibration fix first hand from ford lol....its called allowable wheel torque error

Can you imagine all the people coming in to the dealer saying my car whistles when im in boost..dont worry its not because of the hole i drilled in the cac

That doesn't fix condensate building in the CAC. The hole fixes that. DYOR.

Back up your claims that this is even an issue in the SHO.

I'm still waiting to hear which tuners suggest this.

Here is your ford tech....interesting it seems it needs a calibration update ....but that seems silly because you said a tune cant fix it....i was waiting for ford tecmakuloco to pull the drill out lol

He doesnt know exactly what got changed...im telling you its called allowable wheel torque error...for got over zealous in their misfire detection software ...its probably very good logic but i think the bugs needed worked out...its why people with coyote mustangs have to have a nuetral profile or crank relearn done when you get a new clutch....it all has to do with rate of acceleration that the crank position sensor sees

All of them - ask. Ford techs too - ask them.

In the text description at AJ's link, Makuloco clearly states:
"Your absolute BEST Defense against this is a Quality Dual Catch Can Kit"

If you look through the threads on catch cans, you can see the transverse engines have a very low rate of incidence of condensate/pooling issues.
