2013 SHO- burning oil through the exhaust

I wouldnt worry to much about it,its a sign that the AFR is is lower than it should be,so basically its running rich the way it should with a tune,just keep an eye on the cac levels.Z

Black smoke is usually fuel. If you check your plugs to make sure they are not building up carbon or wet, you should be ok. Run some FI cleaner through the tank, clean the MAP sensors to make sure the PCM is getting accurate data.

I literally just installed the new plugs and MAP sensor with less than a weeks worth of driving. Any recommendations on the FI cleaner?

I use 44k every oil change, but at every fill up, I use archoil, it's good stuff

Make sure you use the funnel that comes with the car. First time I poured the bottle in and it all came out under the car from the drain hole :/

I'll find out more on Monday but Ford just ordered me a new turbo, looks like one is leaking.

Though it would be nice to have a way to test the integrity of the turbo other than having it fizzle out completely.

The seal was leaking so Ford replaced it! Time to put the tune back in.

same way for me, remove the rear turbo and add brand new yesterday and today.

oïl leaking outside the compressor and burning oïl Inside, great job...lol

I'm sorry but this is crap. It's probably NOT the seals. My 2014 SHO had the EXACT same problems as you did when I had the catless downpipes on the car. Once I put the factory cats back on the car, the problem became minimal if not completely went away. I have another post about a theory of how there is more blow by of some sort with the reduced back pressure.

I know its not a popular theory, but my car is perfectly fine now with the factory DPs.
