Please look at integrating lightbox; it makes image handling in threads so much more convenient.

By the way, you can upload right to the gallery.  Up to 2500X2500.

Here; there is a mod for SMF.

SHAZbing; this is how you do it folks!

There's no support or updates since 2008, the last response to the support thread was a year ago.
I currently have an image handler that resizes them automatically and recognizes images from the various image sharing sites.

What functionality are you missing?

Eh, the one thing you outta figure out is adding the box that says "this image has been resized, click to expand blah blah"--we have it on our fanatics site but that's vb--I couldn't begin to point you in right direction.

It'd be worth it; not everyone knows to click on picture to see larger version. I normally add text to mine so folks know they can do that.

Here example of little yellow bar.

Yeh, that mod is well outdated, and has a lot of problems. There is one, I use it on my forum. Will talk to the boss. Lightbox is the way forward, :D

You do what will work best for us, you have way more experience than I do, if it works better please do it! :)

I see you incorporated lightbox; you just need to fix the auto-expand so it doesn't butcher the threads--right now it expands a photo and opens lightbox.

ive corrected the javascript in the theme that was doing that. fortunately i knew exactly where in the js to look.

You may just need to ctrl-f5 to trigger it.

Will make the lightbox styling a bit better and add some bordering to images on page to make it clearer you can click them either tonight if i keep awake, or tuesday.

geswek

It works now.

I had to clear cache --

Lightbox fully working, slight shadow added to images to make them more obvious that they can be clicked.

You are awesome!
Sent from my phone with lots of misspelled words...

No problem.
Sorry Ive not been around to do it earlier, but running cycling forums during the tour de france is, well, chaos.. ;)

Thanks dimspace!  Adds a nice touch to the forum.  And thanks to geswek for suggesting.

geswek

AHHHH; your light shadow just butchered signatures.
