Morning all!!!

In August of 2014, I spotted this beauty sitting at my local Ford dealer and it was in need of a good home.

This is Ruby II, a 2013 F-150 Lariat in Ruby Red Metallic.  She came with the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost.

She replaced Ruby I which was a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium with the 2.0L EcoBoost.  Mileage started out fantastic with highway mileage over 21 mpg.  Now it has settled down in the 18 - 20 mpg range.

Really liked the Escape until I lived in it for 3 weeks while on vacation.  By the end of the vacation which covered 22 US states and 2 Canadian provinces (Alberta and British Columbia), my wife and I felt claustrophobic in the Escape and we needed something bigger.

welcome & i am a 2 eco family as well . got my wife to eventually see the light & say no to the kia she wanted & got an '13 escape 2.0L as well. on a long trip sure she's no explorer, but we just did a 400 mile round trip & my wife was well pleased. & got around 28mph mainly road driving. the thing that i find interesting is ford is getting rid of the 2.0. a quick little engine with reasonable around town mph & lots of torque & no real engine issues like the 1.6. the only issue i have with it is that they hid the coolant add too deep & have to remove a big plastic piece or do what i did, borrow one of my wife's long spout flower waterers to add coolant.

I am pleased with the power of the 3.5L. She gets quite thirsty driving at above 70 as I discovered on I 95 in northern Maine (speed limit above Bangor is 75). Have 21k on her now. No issues yet.

My 15 f150 3.5 curenrly gets 15 mpg at 79.  It's at 4k miles now but when it was new I was getting about 13 hah. Defently do not get the claimed mpg unless you are going 65.
13' SHO, Non-PP, Tuned by Torrie, Meth injection, 3 bar, 170* stat, custom axle back exhaust, Prosport Boost gauge.
15' F150 Lariat Sport, all the options, 3.5L Eco. (fiancée ride.)
13' GTCS, will be missed.

Seems we have a lot of 2 EB owners. We are ones as well. :)  I put the wife into a new silver '13 F150 EB w/ off road and max tow (for our 26' toy hauler) and I picked up a ruby red '13 SHO non PP that was CPO. Both vehicles are Unleashed tuned also.

Our 150 only gets about 17.2 highway at 70+ mph mainly due to the 3.73 rearend that comes with the max tow package.
'13 SHO, AJP Tune w/ 3-Bar
'17 F-250 6.7 PowerStroke
'17 XSport
