My first time at the track with my SHO last night at Norwalk wasn't was I expecting... 13.1 @ 106mph. My 60's were 1.9's... I was tired launching at 2K and 2.5K with same results. The atmosphere was not helping, and i am hoping for better times on a cooler night.
What's the trick for better 60's? I am running Cooper RS3-S's. I am new to the AWD/Turbo. Plenty of track time in a Fox body.
There are so many variables to consider to say the least, you really have to find the sweet spot, make sure to fully turn off the T/C,less than a quarter tank of gas, remove the engine cover, shifter on sport mode usually works best, consider playing with tire psi,30 f-28 r, the key factor is focusing on those 60' times, anthing under 1.80 will lead to great ET,anything over a 1.90 is not going to be good, also try going at night, BTW Datalogging would benefit you if not done so already.
