Me vs a stock 2015 Challenger SRT 8. His first run of the night was a 12.18 but he couldn't repeat that. I ran a 12.61 to his 12.49 but I got him at the tree.

Me vs Camaro, not sure what he had done to it though. I got him at the tree and jumped out with a good lead but he reeled me back in. He ran an 11.8 to my 12.61.

Thanks. We missed having you there. We will have to make another trip out soon. I think the wife is hooked after her first trip so now she wants to go without our boy and stay later. I want to get her to ride with me for a run so she really gets the feel for it. I think I may be able to get her to try driving eventually.

I've been adding 4 ounces of MMO (marvel mystery oil) to the tank about every 3rd or 4th fill up. Really helps quiet the loud HPFP system.

Sorry for the dumb  question lol but when you mix the E85 with 93 octane . Does it matter what you put first in the take either E85 or 93 octane . Thanks

If you're in the miles to empty zone, less than 3 gallons in tank, I'd recommend putting in the 93 first. If not you can risk sucking in too much of the spiked punch bowl. For optimal mixing (just in my head) it's nice to put the corn in first.

Side note: spike the punch bowl a bit more this last time....1.5 gallons of corn, car likes it....back to zero knock on wot pulls

Why does mixing e85 help you get better times? I'm totally confused by this I run the LMS 4 plus tune and I don't get it a little lesson please. I've never raced at a track going to take my SHO for first time are you guys manually shifting or you letting the tunes do your work?

Adding E-85 effectively raises the overall Octane of your fuel which suppresses knock and allows more timing to be run.  The car will try to add timing and when it can it will make your car faster - up to a point though.  E-85 has a lower energy content (I think that is the correct term) so you need to use more of it...the car/fuel pump will compensate but after a certain point it can't keep up.  In other words you can only add a little and still be safe on the stock fuel system with a tune.  You can run higher concentrations with the stock tune as I believe as there is more "headroom" although Ford doesn't want you to.

I would say it depends how far you are from stations...mine are fairly close so I put the corn in first so it mixes better.

No issues and the trims just start to move as I get to station 2. Usually when I do this I have around 2 gallons of the mix remaining and then add 3 gal of corn. So yeah, a pretty high blend for a couple of minutes and no issues.

I dont think either is wrong but if you don't mix it well when you fill it, the trims take a little longer to settle down.

Nice runs. Good trees.
Was going to take my SHO there back in the day, before they re did the whole complex and track, but never did.
