I only have about 1100 miles on my 15 pp sho so far. And ive been  trying to break her in. Ive got on it a few times but realky have been driving conservative. Car only has k&n drop in. I cant seem to get above 17 mpg for the life of me. I know its a performance car but come on i should easily be seeing 20-22 with how im driving. Running premium fuel to.

Running premium won't matter....Lot of city, stop and go, idling? I thought 17-18 is normal for the city rating?...You have a lot of hills? It should get better after you get more miles

My last tank was 14.7 but that was 100% city with lots of WOT blasts and a 20% blend.

Give it time. My car settles at 26-28 on the highway. When it was around 8k miles it was getting advertised mpg.

I would suggest using a top tier gas like Shell 93 or Exxon and some full synthetic oil next time, you have torque pro app?you can setup your readings and configure your settings so you will be able to monitor your vehicles levels.Z

I don't think you're far off. I couldn't ever do better than 20, mixed driving.

If I was having fun, around 19.

When blending a little more E, 17 or 18.

It'll improve a little, fa SHO.

All i put in my cars is shell gas. Or sunoco.  I have a few small hills. Is there any advantage to premium at this point? Im not tuned yet. And im not tracking it

Sure, you can take advantage of the learned knock spark advance built into the stock calibration. The ECU will allow up to 4 degrees of ignition advance if the fuel permits.

You didn't say if its city or hwy and what percentage of each.  How long are your typical drives, how much warm up time, etc.  All that comes into play.  For me that mileage would be normal for bumming around town.  Now if that is hwy mileage only then I see an issue.

also depending where you live has summer gas arrived. my around town only is 17-18, but that is all stop & go. the open road is where sho shines. mine @75mph is doing only 1800rpm.

You're right on par, my friend.

I've been averaging 17-18 MPG and I have 31k on my non-PPSHO. When I had my 2008 and 2009 BMW 335i, I would average 16-18 MPG. They BMW changed their platform to a single large Turbo instead of a TT, which increased their MPG.

I think this is the main push behind the 2016 using the 2.7 Ecoboost engine platform. The 3.5 TT is a hog from what I've experienced.

17.2 over 10k miles on the xsport. It's all about how you drive.

Always funny to see the prius going 95 in the HoV lane, getting 15 mpg.

Short trips with a cold engine that runs richer and less efficient until it reaches operating temps will help keep your mpg a bit lower.  Also cold lubricants (engine oil, trans fluid, put fluid) are thicker until they warm up which will work against your mpg on a short trip.
