I have a 2012 EB flex with 28,000 miles on it, i have had a couple incidents when my car burned a good amount of oil out of the exhaust on acceleration, now its been a few weeks since and it hasn't happen again. I brought into the dealer and showed them a video of it smoking and of course they told me that they have to get it to reproduce the smoking, no such luck. now i have driven it 700 miles and no smoke. The only thing i found is a good amount of oil in the intake piping and the dealer told me that they compared my car to 3 other like vehicles and it was said to be normal to have oil in the intake piping.

Has anyone else noticed oil in their intake piping? could you check? your feedback would be greatly appreciated

Oil may be misted on, but no way it should be pooling if the PCV system is working correctly.  You have had the valve covers updated though, right?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Yes i had the valve cover changed and they added a oil separator, also last week when it was at the dealer they changed the PCV valve ,however they didn't tell me that it was malfunctioning. i will take a picture of what inside my intake pipes look like in a little bit and post it up here. I'm just trying get some real life comparison

This pipe right here looks like it's leaking to me. It has the oily build up around its seem. I actually zip tied the front wiring to it to gain length on the IAT1 sensor for the MDesign. That little bit of pressure caused it to start leaking, noticed by boost spikes on my gauge. When I checked it, the underside had a nice buildup. Let zip tie free and it is fine. Another reason pointing me to hard pipe this as that seem looks pretty weak IMO.

Not sure if this will help you, but I also had the same oil dripping in my 2014 SHO when I disconnected the charge pipe to change my rear plugs... I just chalked it up to being blow-by of some sort.

I would monitor it every oil change,a little bit of oil is normal and nothing to worry about, always try to use a top teir full synthetic oil changed at frequent intervals, grab a rag and clean inside of the pipes and just keep an eye on it.Z

All the over the counter stuff such as castrol syntec Mobil 1 and others are NOT true synthetics and use refined petroleum...meaning fake synthetic lol group III oil

I would use some mass air flow cleaner on that map sensor, looks like oil buildup, probably help with any hesitation your experiencing .Z

Looked at my '14 Flex ecoboost with 20k miles on it today.

Rear turbo pipe is bone dry with no evidence of any oil on it. I agree with the idea that it looks like a weak connection but don't think it should have oil build up even if you had a boost leak there.

Pipe leading to the throttle body was basically dry compared to yours.  It had evidence of very minor oil vapor which was only evident when wiping it.

You may want to check for oil build up in your intercooler and drain it if needed.
