I've had these on my 2013PP for a few thousand miles, and honesty, hate how the car rides with them installed.  I love the stance, but I want to actually enjoy my cars, not just stare at them in a parking lot, so they're coming off ASAP.  If there were some aftermarket options for better shocks/struts, I would have happily paid to try that out so I can keep the look and have a better ride quality.

What specifically do you hate about the ride?

Quite a bit firmer, I don't mind it at all on the expressway, but not so much in town.

Good to know, PP is about as firm as I'd want for a DDer.

Coming from nonPP, I think they did a god job with the PP springs besides the 4x4 stance.

I would like a little bit lower stance and smaller wheel well gaps but im surprised how hard the stock suspension takes bumps...it seems to jar the car harder than expected...like it has hard bushings throughout...its not overly stiff so im surprised how hard it hits and how loud road cracks are...and i like not having to worry about parking spot curbs in front of the car

I agree, one of the nice things about the mytouch lockpick is you can add a bunch of cameras and a front one would be nice to keep that from happening.

I would welcome many of you to my Domain (Pot Hole Haven of N.Y) to get a real time feel of the roads, another note to mention and vastly important is the type of tires you are using and the condition there in,also under/over inflated tires will affect your ride performance, currently have Goodyear all season sports and they certainly have a much better ride/handling and unquestionably better than the stock eagle f1's.  Z

I've had stock non pp, Eibachs, and H&R springs. The best ride quality by far was the Eibachs but I wanted the rear a little lower.

Stock springs: No road feel or feedback, like playing a video simulator. too much rear clearance.
Eibach springs: European suspension feel, excellent ride quality, 1 inch drop all around.
H&R Springs: Harsh but not jarring ride, more annoying on long trips. reduced tire pressure to 24psi so it's not bad. The car has a nice stance though.

Eibach's were sold to a member.

Can someone reassure me before I do the front h&r springs. I just lowered the rear, and when i took the pp springs out, they were the same length as the h&r. So when I lowered the car down, they dropped  the car couple of inches. So I'm a little skeptical, how hr are  so much softer than the OEM pp. Please tell me that this is normal and that the spring rate is stiffer from this point....

Leadfoot

The H&Rs dropped my car 1 7/8 inches from stock and the ride is harder than the non PP springs.
The Eibachs and H&Rs are progressive, don't know about the stock spring rate, so the spring rate goes up the more they are compressed.

If you don't put the fronts in, you'll need to adjust the headlights so you don't blind other drivers.

interesting comments in this thread.

i was thinking about installing springs, but was afraid of unforeseen consequences.  instead i'm going to eventually get a body kit for my MKS, which gives the appearance of the car being lowered.  i actually like the high 'battle-tank' stance of our cars.

as far as handling, i just wish we had some different shock/strut aftermarket options to help button down the dynamics.  i enjoy the supple ride of my MKS, but do find it to be somewhat dull/muted in feel especially with the stock Michelins that came with the car!  the car just glided over everything.  changing to some more aggressive rubber really helped alot, especially going to 255s all around vs 245s.  but i still would like some more aggressive shocks.

@meanks

These guys can build custom springs, I'm serious considering going this route

I need to give them a call. Would be nice if they could match the PP's spring rate but produce a spring 1" (+/-) shorter.
