Interesting Z.... Wonder if the TStat is trying to cycle... That "gauge" is coolant temp isn't it.... And the slow down in idle... Isn't that occurring when the electrically heated rear O2 sensor reaches operating temperature? Do you think EGTs are rising faster?  Maybe more intake are and better combustion.... Making me wonder...

That pic was after an hour long drive on a 91 deg day and definetly was cycling at that point but never that low based on the gauge,now with the idle it drops down pretty quickly compared to before,figure roughly around 30 second upon startup which is intresting,then it will take five min for complete warmup.  Z

2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Not cars I know, but early all of North America will have a chance to see something truly amazing later this month when three celestial events – a full moon, a supermoon, and a lunar eclipse – will coincide for a few hours. This won't happen again until 2033... So if your interested it could be your last chance. Optimal viewing is 7:15-8:15pm Pacific on Sept 27.
