I had an explorer while my SHO was in getting the injectors replaced, after using MFT for a week and going back to my sync gen 1 navi system was like a breath of fresh air. I prefer the old gen 1 system so much better. Very simple to use and the MFT doesn't have a "live" home screen like the gen 1 nav. You can't see your music info and the navigation map at the same time. I didn't like that.

Agreed - I have a '12 sho and '14 ExSport (wife's) - I HATE that version of sync with a passion, the 4 squares with no valid information, loss of live map not sure WHAT ford was thinking, or who they had test it but its crap.

Same here...I have the 2010 MKS and a 2014 Taurus.  The MyFord touch system in the Taurus does exactly what it is supposed to with no problems.....but it is not even close to the user friendliness, efficiency and excellence of the sync/nav system in the 2010.
