What a huge difference!!!  This car finally has brakes like it should!!! I have the 13' master cyl and booster too top it off, and it stops on a dime now! Red stuff all around with the same rotors all around! Highly recommend.

Look great...man I need these too. I can handle the squishy pedal in normal driving, but at the track those high speed stops suck.

I think he is just using stock size replacement rotors and pads. And even with 14" rotors you only need 18" wheels

Looks like according to centric brakes that his fronts are 12.81" and rears are 12.99" So he could probably even run 17" wheels

So can I ask what the damage was for this? I am going to need brakes this spring and would love to do the upgrade.

Everything is stock size.  The pads were $100 per set, rear rotors were $250 and front were $375.  You can probably find better deals out there but I liked the look of these rotors.

Hey FLOSHO,

I believe your pic in the thread is the rear brake, correct?  If so, just a question regarding the rotor.  You and I having non-PP cars and 10-12 year, believe we have solid rotors stock.

Guessing there is no clearance issue with going to the vented rear rotors and still using stock calipers?
2011 SHO non-PP, Ingot Silver, 2013 fender vents, all stock (for now).
Future: Tune, 3-bar, new plugs.  Catted DP and exhaust someday.

FLOSHO21

Yes, the picture is of the rear.  I couldnt say for sure if the calipers would clear vented rear rotors, or if the caliper bracket would clear, looks like it would be tight for the bracket.  I stayed with the factory solid rear rotor.

My bad!!  Looking the pic closer, I mistakenly thought the inboard dust shield was part of your rotor--thus thinking it was the vented rotor you had.  Thanks for your post clearing it up for me!

FLOSHO, can you elaborate on your 13+ booster and Master cylinder? I am going to make the swap in my 2010 this spring. Did you make a post about that anywhere? Should I PM you for more info?

FLOSHO21

There is a writeup in the "how to" section on this forum I believe for the 13' swap.  Its really not too difficult at all, the hardest part is bending the line into the master cyl just right and installing the brake switch.
