Hey guys!
What's up? Long time no talk...
LAst time, I had changed my 2013 Taurus SHO for a 2010 BMW 750i xdrive... Big mistake... 15K$ loss later in just three months, I decided to sell that car. The problem with these big cars is that nobody buys them. Only rich people, présidents of companies rent them at 2,000$ per month and after 4 years, they give back the keys. So, they don't care about maintenance or pampering their car during those 4 years and it is the next buyer (that's me in that case) that ends up with all the problems.
I needed to have an injector replaced, front light replaced, battery replaced... The starter wasn't working that well neither. Anyways, I have been used with new cars, so I am back with peace of mind. I received my new car last Friday. I needed more space in the trunk (oh yeah, another thing with the bimmer, the rear seats didn't fold), less space in the car. I wanted a sport ride, but practical for the family at the same time. I always loved wagons and needed one comfy, sporty, AWD and «affordable».
My choice: the new 2015.5 Volvo V60 Rdesign. 6L, 3.0l, turbocharged, 325hp/354lbs, 0-60 in 5.0 sec flat, 1/4 mile in 13.5 sec. stock... I like!
I took it rebel blue! and will have side scuff plates installed later this week.
I just love how the car drives. First time in many years that I drive a car that is not obese ; )
Beside the color, I believe it fits within the sleepers criteria that I appreciate like many of you Ecoboost owners.
I still own the Explorer Sport 2014 and love it... I won't modify it... Been there, done that and I enjoy being able not to be worried if a parts break, if the dealer will be able to pass it under warranty or not ; )
Pictures to come eventually once side scuff plates installed.
Until then , cheers guys!
Steve
