After reading multiple articles regarding carbon buildup thanks to SHOdded, trying to familarize myself with the DGI engine and how to overcome these issues, based on Ford releasing an update which states that they have overcome the intake valve carbon buildup and oil coking, the new variable valve timing engines they leave the intake valve open just a little longer to allowthe air/fuel charge rush back over the valve acting like the typical intake runner injector setup thereby eliminating the problem that earlier DGI engines have had, hopefully this is a breaking point and not just a perception leading to false claims, also never knew an oil catch can is illegal in many states, thanks,Z.
