The doors are reinforced, I noticed what almost looks like a seat belt strap securing them. The trunk is also reinforced heavily for rear end collisions. The doors are VERY heavy, it wouldn't surprise me if the 90 lbs was accurate, makes for a nice conversation piece however.
As far as the "scare factor" I've had numerous hilarious experiences so far. It doesn't help that the car has a push bumper, strobes on the front quarter panels and rear window (not activated, of course) and a working spotlight. The car is VERY heavy but still fun and quick for my purposes (and surprisingly it's a chick magnet, who would've guessed.) The traction/stability control seems to work very well without over-correcting.
Aside from tints, I'm likely going to keep the vehicle looking as-is. The police look is just too much fun!
