I know its imortant to change your fuel fliter, especially if it meets your service interval which is about 60k on our cars,im guessing but based on this article it states in high performance turbo vehicles they recommend changing it every 10k which seemed to be pretty low,i know a clogged fuel filter or running low on gas can lead to fuel starvation and cause potential risks to the fuel pump.

Unfortunately, they don't make it easy to change fuel filters anymore, calling them "lifetime".  Not sure if there is access to the fuel pump through the trunk or back seat.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

While that article may provide hood general guidelines, it was not very well written. "We know"... Perhaps we do, but I'd still like some evidence. The whole article lacked scientific backing. I would be curious to find out the date of the article, and which car the author specifically had in mind when writing it.

Furthermore, I have a post in the Unleashed section specifically asking about the use of a turbo timer.
