I was curious how every ones heat is performing with the cold weather upon us,mine honestly with the Reishe 170stat car has to be warmed up or driven a good half hour in order to really feel the heat coming out.

That is way too long!  How long for engine to come up to operating temperature, or even midway?  Coolant check?

I have mine for about a year know, recall last winter it heated up much quicker but also hear the fans kicking on frequently, maybe have to adjust the fans.

If it worked well last winter then maybe there is a problem with the thermostat like it is not closing all the way which would make the time it takes to heat up properly a lot longer. I had this issue with another of mine in the past, put in a new stat and all was well again. Not saying that is the issue but it could be. It does not take long to remover the thermostat and put it in some water and boil it to make sure it is working right, opening all the way and when you remove it from the water closing all the way.

I have LMS 160* my car was blowing hot air after about a mile of driving and five minutes of idle. Coolant temp after 2 miles was 175. I get on the freeway about half a mile from my house. Peak temp was ~185 for my 30 minute drive.

I used to have an 160* tstat in my firebird, and I had to switch back to factory each year before the winter. It wouldn't blow warm air for a long time. I now run 180 through out the year on my other toy with fans adjusted at 183*. Colder areas, I wouldn't go below 180.

Takes at least ten to warm it up in the morning, and even then it's not up to temp.  Have to get the turbos hot and get on it once or twice, or drive around more to heat it up.  I probably wouldn't have put it on but now I don't want to switch it back out.

I have the LMS 160 with the 4x tune. Fans are set to kick in at 150 from what I'm told. I have good heat in a few minutes of driving. I remote start as I leave my desk at work and by the time I get in the car I have warm air and it's hot by the time I'm out of the lot. I do notice with the climate control set on auto it seems to take a while to feel warm since it mainly blows on the feet. I just change it to blow out dash vents and have heat for my hands.

Its been anywhere from 5-20 degrees here lately. I let it warm up for about ten minutes before I take off and its probably 140 maybe (ill have to plug in my SCT to double check.) But I bet after a few miles its pretty much up to temp. Not bad having a 170 but the stock one was obviously a lot better as far as getting really good heat.

It's not a fix, but are you all putting air in recirc mode initially?  Makes the interior warm up that much faster without all that outside cold air constantly brrrrr-inging it down.
