Sweet, more extremely topical postings, so glad there's such quality contributions.

Moral of the story;

I don't think anyone has any experience with the weapon R intake on their SHO. If you (the OP) think it's something that could work well with your application, give it a try. Worst case scenario, you dump it for a different CAI or go back to stock. Hey, we've ALL spent money on a mod or two that ended up being a bust.  It's just part of the game.

This post should be of some assistance.

On another note; it seems to me that since sooooo much has been developed and improved upon for the SHO over the last 4 years or so, you'd think there would be a definitive CAI option or two. But the debate rages on. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the engineers at Ford did a pretty good job with the factory intake.

Of course air raid with thicker weather stripping seems to be the answer.

I appreciate you posting this but there's no real answer there to be honest, just some speculation and a bunch of w****r posts. I don't really care about brand name considering an intake is literally some tubing and an air filter and either works as it should or doesn't. I'd prefer actual data similar to the modified Air Raid post than just some baseless speculation.

The stock air box does seem to be an excellent design, no arguing that. As for the lack of options, the SHO, I think the issue is just production numbers, there's just not enough to get a ton of interest from the aftermarket.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this guy has zero experience modifying cars.  (hint, avoid ebay)

Really?? I have to babysit my kids enough...does someone really need to step in between two adults to keep things from turning derogatory in a conversation about a car intake?

Bottom line: ecoboost CAIs suck...there's nothing wrong with eBay. If you want something that works, build it yourself.

Any questions?
