I think I bought the DP's and cutout in February?

Does that sound right Mike?

PPE pipes are the best.
X2^^^^ I have the first set ever installed still on my car.  Wouldn't part with them.

Ahmad, I have PPE catted DP with stock on to the tips and I love the sound and performance.  On the Dyno over 6 back to back pulls only 3-5 WHP difference with no catted.  No CEL, no rasp, no smoke, no drone.  Silent until I roll into the throttle pretty hard.

I had mine black ceramic coated.  I helped in the late fitment and Dyno work on the PPE DPs.   You may get cheaper, but you can't get better.  Paul Prentiss and his crew at PPE are great.

Lol all this time Tom! After much debate I believe that is the best setup for this vehicle given my goals, as well as staying close to stock as possible. I'm going to be getting rid of my last prototype exhaust then hopefully plan on picking up some downpipes and throwing the stock catback on there. That'll get me satisfied in the exhaust department, then on to getting the intake made! ;)

I am still running the first installed set.... Love 'em.  They cause the turbos to spool about 500-600 rpm lower.... And moves the power spikes for AWHP & TQ down that much too.  It will make a lot of difference in your 0-60.... Even more if you mod the tune for them... Should put you near 4 sec for 0-60....

Anyone have PPE catted DP's and a stock exhaust system?

Almost - I have PPE NON-catted and stock exhaust. Zero issues and the sound is great, as is the improvement in low-end grunt

See in MI there are no emissions, my interest in going with catted is simply to avoid the smell associated with deleting the cats. Also the power difference as Tom has mentioned above is negligible and therefore I don't believe tearing up the ozone is worth it lol.

I'll be getting the LMS downpipes soon. My tune is through LMS and will stick with their product recommendations. PPE downpipes are very good as well. Can't go wrong with either set IMO.

Any members installing DP or cat back Exhaust always order new gaskets and they are fairly cheap, its like changing the oil but not the filter, just my 2cent.

I'm looking to pull the trigger either today or tomorrow on a set of CATTED Downpipes for my 2013 SHO, I see livernois has them in stock ready to go.... In your Opinion, which will be the better CATTED downpipes for my car? I want the catted. because I want to pass inspection.  Thanks in advance guy's. I will be installing them this Friday ( have my buddy's lift to the day) along with my new Lowering springs.   Rich

We do have our Downpipes made and ready to ship. And as bpd1151 stated, we have not had any thrown codes either. We DO recommend that you tune your vehicle as well, as to make sure that you are optimizing the application of the add-on. Nonetheless, congrats on your new purchase! Hopefully the next time you decide to make a modification we get a chance to speak.
