First runs

Well last night I finally got to run my 10 SHO.  Best time of the night was 13.24 at 104 mph.  Very impressed and happy with my Unleashed tune.  Surprised quite a few guys in my Mustang club.  Hoping a set of downpipes might net me 12's.

Congrats on your start.  DPs may help by moving the turbo spool and TQ/HP spike to lower rpm.

Hey guys.  Been reading a lot of guys seem to be in the 12's with just a tune.  And these are non PP cars.  Any reason why I couldn't get better than 13.2?

I had about the same time a few months ago with a DA of around 3000, 13.1@105. Traction could be an issue, 60' could be improved on. What rpm were you launching at.
I think Torrie tunes pretty conservatively then will go further if you data log.

I was launching at 2000 rpm with TC off.  I did one launch at 2500 and spun slightly. Ended up at 13.30 with that run.
I did a datalog for Torrie.  He looked at it and said everything looked good.  I'd love to get more aggressive.

What tires, how many miles on them, and what pressures?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!
