Black out rims???

I'm another fan of the dip. I went with the "True Metallic" anthracite gray on my EAP wheels. I did the wheels and emblems in the same dip. There are more pictures in my build thread if interested.

Just Curious. About how many cans did you go through on your SHO wheels? I'm looking at doing mine and would much rather not start and run out... hahaha

You're pretty safe with A can a wheel but I usually get 5 cans to be sure . It also depends if you line up all four rims and do equal coats on each untill complete ( you may have to use a little extra paint) or do one at a time (1 can for one rim) your choice. But remember it's better having more paint then not enough!

Anyone have new tires mounted on their rims after they were dipped?  Did the dip get damaged?

Off topic... But I love the way the black-out of the window trim and the bright strips over your roof came out!  Grill looks great too.
