I remember hearing someone having issues with their transmission and the dealer swapped a sensor on the transmission, anyone know what sensor this is and where it is? I got a random transmission slip on the 2-3 shift right after returning to stock, Im hoping that's the reason why but just want to check the sensor.

That would likely be the TSS/OSS sensor combo.  Someone with a shop manual can maybe put up a diagram of exactly where it is?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

manu is all over it. i had the situation it got so bad was doing it multiple times a day. had to take a dealer tech with me to prove it & even with his laptop hooked to obd when it happened didn't throw a code. the interesting thing was their first attempts was to do tsb software updates. luckily it made issue so bad i could make it happen when tech rode with me. mine was worst  rounding a curb & then picking up speed. no issues since replaced sensors although haven't driven it a lot.

You say right after returning stock. If that is so I wouldn't worry about. Strange behaviors are normal when ECM has been reset. Drive it and monitor give the ECM some time to relearn.

A couple times Ive had the car refuse to shift when I was dogging on it and there was a good amount of wheel spin. It would literally just stop shifting and get stuck in gear until I reset the car which would cure everything, no codes or nothing, I just chalked it up to the fact that the car is a electric beast of a nature due to all the electronics and is tuned so slight hiccups are ok.

mine at first was a slight hiccup, like larry's from NY is doing, but when they ran the TSB, it became a once now & then to multiple times a day & i could pretty well make it happen & became a real issue. it was bad enough that if i wanted to sell or trade it i couldn't have. made worst by it acting up on my way mexico to show my mopar friend the good that the DP's had done to low end torque.

That sounds like what occurs when the TSB is done incorrectly, I was reading it today and it stated exactly that symptoms will get worse and more frequent. Might want to show them that.

As for my problem, it's getting slightly better I put about 40 miles since flashing. I went ahead and picked this up anyway as preventative maintenance.

I just tossed it in there so it can blend overnight, hopefully tomorrow I'll have something to report back on though it might take a couple hundred miles I've read.

Hey now... lol. love is a strong word. I'd say I like some of their products. I'm kinda jumping ship on all brands right now. Seeing if the grass is greener so to speak.
13' SHO, Non-PP, Tuned by Torrie, Meth injection, 3 bar, 170* stat, custom axle back exhaust, Prosport Boost gauge.
15' F150 Lariat Sport, all the options, 3.5L Eco. (fiancée ride.)
13' GTCS, will be missed.

Well it improved the transmission about 30-40% I'd say, though there still seems to be something not right. I think I might have a boost leak since I was only peaking at 13.63psi apposed to before where I swore I saw 15 on the X4, maybe that might have some relevance to the 2-3 shift flare.

Another idea might be that it needs the TSB done that involves removing a check valve in the transmission, not sure it has been done.

I also will be swapping my PTU fluid again so hopefully this time I can get more fluid in there and see if that has any affect.

When I had a boost leak I was getting boost readings in the mid 15's to a low 16. Since I fixed the leak I haven't recorded boost over a 12.8
