Thermostat questions

Tell me which one to buy. I am a tight wad, so cheaper is better, but, I don't want to screw up the engine. Will any 170* t-stat do?

There's only one 170 T-stat from Reische and then there's LMS 160 t-stat

I've only heard the LMS pitch on the 160. They say it(& tune) will result in less turning on and off of the fan.

The Reisch was used by LMS for YEARS before they had their own made

AT least the Reische 170 stat comes with a gasket and the 160 ??

No gasket with the 160, hope the stock one holds. Will check it in about a decade...lol
