Being that I consider the SHO/Flex/MKS one of the best sleepers currently on the road today, I'm curious what you guys choose as your top 5 best sleepers of all-time.

1. GMC Typhoon / Syclone
2. 86-87 Buick GN & GNX
3. 2013-14 Ford SHO
4. Mitsubishi Galant VR4
5. Dodge Omni GLH

Honorable mentions: Neon SRT4, Saab 900 Turbo
2015 Chevy SS Perfect Blue / LMT Tuned (390 RWHP / 388 RWTQ)
2013 White Platinum Tri-Coat SHO (Non-PP) *SOLD*

For the time, the Caddy STS 1994 with its 300hp was a good one. Remember taht the Mustang GT had 225hp at the same time. It did 0-60 in 6.4 sec. I loved that car... My father was leaving it in the driveway every weekend (for me to use?) while he was taking the Explorer to go to the cottage house. Thanks dad! His fault I am a speed addict now lol!
2010 blue wrapped SHO 12.09 at 117.9mph - SOLD
2013 SHO PP 12.08 at 113.83mph...
Alky control, LMS tuned, custom exhaust, LMS catted downpipes, H&R springs, Tstat170, 3bar map, Airaid

Also the Volvo S60 T5 1998, 0-60 in 6.3 and 1/4 mile in 14.7 didn't seem that fast from the look!

Especially in a wagon E63 AMG. The R model in AMG version was quite a sleeper too!

Yea, the 90s STS was pretty badass for the times. My list is a little bias as I've owned a few of the cars on my particular list. Even the 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra only had 235 HP/280 lbs. Tq. at the time as well.

1986 Dodge Omni GLH Turbo. With some mods they would run low 13's even high 12's lol. You had better have 2 hands on the wheel though!

True True. I left a lot of the SRT stuff out, because after a year or so people became very aware of what they were.

In no order or even a final list. Just some that came to mind

Nissan Altima 3.5SR/ Maxima SV
F150 Lightning
Hyundai Genesis 5.0R
Dodge Ram 1500 SRT10
GMC Typhoon
Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense
Refrigerator

Perhaps not top of the list quality... Maybe more of an honorable mention. But, the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this thread title was the last generation Toyota RAV4, with the 6 cylinder. I think they put the 6 in them between 06 and 12. Talk about unsuspecting. Certainly not blisteringly quick, but absolutely capable of surprising some much sportier vehicles, in straight line.

The current Regal GS. Not super quick. But I believe most anybody'd be surprised it's a Buick.
The Mazdaspeed 6 was unsuspectingly quick by appearance.
The Forester 2.5 XT, with the WRX engine...
The Chrysler GT Cruiser.
The 2004-2008(?) Legacy GT.
The 1990 turbo Dodge Caravan.
The R/T Dakota 360ci from the early 2000s.

Awd Turbo caravan if memory is correct..

1992 Audi s4 the ultimate sleeper.  If it had the badges removed the only other cue was slight fender flares.  And remember it was before Audi was cool and popular. .easy to make 300 horse.  With factory upgrades.   Also Audi 200 and 5000 with Turbo 5 cylinder.. do yourself a favor and YouTube the car.
