What are the best mods to gain power without going overkill?

Ok I'm kinda new here. I have been on many car forums but haven't looked too much into the SHO forums since I just got the car. I see a bunch of people doing methanol injection and everything. Is there a way to get some more boost and increase performance without getting into separate fuel sources? I doubt I will ever be tracking the car so that being said what mods are best to increase performance on my daily driver? I would also like to not completely destroy my fuel economy. Also how does the warranty work with mods(all or nothing or will I only void certain parts)?

Theres a thread specifically anwsering the question. The tune is the best bang for your buck. Then downpipes.

Tune.  With 93 octane, looking at over 70hp and over 80lb ft of torque with just a tune.  The EB is detuned a lot,  so a huge bang for your buck in just a tune.   Ford will be able to know you flashed the computer if they really want to,  so use at your own risk.  No engines or drive line parts hurt on tune only SHOs as far as I know.

I would go with Livernois,  they are in the Detroit area.  One of the best and main EcoBoost tuner.  Check them out since you are near them.  They will get you set.   Buy a $60 3bar map sensor and get the Livernois v8 tune for it.   This will get you a 12.7 at 110mph luxury boat!    Next is down pipes,  allows turbos to spool earlier and another. 2 or so off. People claim around a 0-60 in 4 seconds with these mods.

A CAI does not improve performance,  does the opposite.   But increases engine noise,  which a lot like.   Some threads going on right now about fixing it.

The question asked is pretty much covered unless you want to start talking about stroker kits and other internal engine work.  Tune first for performance and have your tuner adjust the tune for the bolt-on mods you add for the most benefit.

Here is the direct link to Mike's list of power per mod which is still right on and in a concise form:

You can always use a mix of e85 for a bump in power. Currently the only tuner to tune for this is Unleashed Tuning. (That I am aware of.)
13' SHO, Non-PP, Tuned by Torrie, Meth injection, 3 bar, 170* stat, custom axle back exhaust, Prosport Boost gauge.
15' F150 Lariat Sport, all the options, 3.5L Eco. (fiancée ride.)
13' GTCS, will be missed.

It isn't necessarily cheap, but installing light and strong wheels with sporty, sticky tires is one of the best ways to improve overall performance.

Its always the first thing I think about.
I don't have an EB but I am an avid modder and happy to help the community and learn/grow.  Pretty good with audio and wheels, my build and discussion threads are here in the forum.  2013 Flex AWD N/A
