What milage did you change yours at? I'm at 27k now. Seems pretty bad for 27k.

Think it was 47k without looking...really wish there was a way to fully drain it so I could put a new brand of fluid in. Just don't want to mix them at all?

Feels wrong pouring in such clean oil when I know it's just getting mixed with crap. Took 4 quarts out and put 4 in then went for a drive. Surprised to feel the shifts are changed noticibly.

Me too, something you didn't think was very bad, having such a noticeable difference. Just felt like clean shifts after the change.

I'm going to make it a normal maintenance item now. 4qt's every oil change. It's easy to get to and I like having something to wrench on lol.

That sounds like a great idea. It is pretty easy to do, MDesign CAI would make it much easier too.

I changed my oil for the first time on the SHO. what a pain! the sumabish previous owner must have used an impact gun putting the oil filter on. after fighting it for awhile and even spraying PB Blaster around the gasket, I decided to run to wally world and get a oil filter wrench. I had to use my 1/2" drive ratchet to get the filter off. It started twisting the body of the filter before the filter started to loosen. ughh

Probably superglued the oil filter on!  Luckily never had to deal with one that resistant.  Glad you got 'er done!  Was the bellypan easy to remove though?  Keep close watch on those fasteners :)

belly pan came right off but noticed it wasn't slid into the front lip support thingamabob. I put it back how it should be.
