Clearcoating may work, but not sure.  Maybe a couple of these felt washers cut to size and applied where it is bolted down?  Wouldn't be visible from up top.

Fluid Film works great on battery terminals after they are tightened down. Fluid film is a great product with many uses.

Did some service and found that my MDesign intake is cracked on the bottom of the intake port. Contacted them to get it replaced. Also had some rust on the filter, might be getting that replaced too.

What exactly did u use? I wanted to plug up my noisemaker also

I used HPS silicone coupler hose, 3" length, 1 5/8 ID.   HPS T-bolt clamps and I machined a plug to cap the end.
