ok, little help with data logging. I have the data, but i dont know what's next

so I have the sct x4 (torrie).  Have the live link running on my laptop.

No issues what so ever collecting the data.  I have 40 parameters being logged.  I think they are the ones I need?

Last night, I drove to mexico.  It was 70 degrees and calm.  With the car set to stock tune, I did a 0-110 mph run.  Then flashed to the 93 tune, and did the same 0-110 run.

I am able to view the data, turn on and off pid's.  I have the 2 graphs set side by side.  There are some obvious variances in things like boost, knock sensor, and spark advance.  Just not sure what it means.

I have reached out to torrie for his input, but was just throwing the question out here for any feedback.

One more question.  When I flash to the tune, there are some variables I can set.  like shift %'s and idle rpm ect ect.  Do I need to, or should I make any changes here?

I defer to Torrie, but I'd personally not want to fiddle with parameters on a custom tune.

Ya it was a pain to get it all worked out the first time.   Took me a few to figure out how to email it.

When I initially data logged my MKS with an already available config file that I found on EBPF, Torrie could not use the data due to too many parameters and due to some necessary parameters that were missing. He gave me a list of the necessary parameters and I built a config file that contained only those items. If you're interested in using it, PM me your email and I'll send it your way.

all good.  Torrie was answering email late last night and this morning.

Only missed 1 PID that i need to add.  the logging was easy after i got the software and firmware updated.

he sent me an updated file.  i will flash that to the car today and see whats up.

The cust service is awesome, i just want to know more about the changes being made.  He may or may not be able to do that, but something like...because your boost value was x...i had to change THIS PERAMMETER to y.

I agree that would be good information to know.  I know Torrie is great at tweaking based on datalogs but I have often wondered WHAT is tweaked based on WHICH parameter.  I have also been curious if his initial "canned" tune always requires some revision or if it is ever fully optimized right off the tuner.

With my particular tune at least, I logged and he said everything was in spec, no changes needed.
