Looking for tuning that won't break half shafts or is there a transmission upgrade. I am a duramax guy but love the luxury of my wife's new ride.

Welcome to EBPF ......

As long as you dont get REAL aggressive with some of heavy mods and stick with a mild tune you'll still be grinning ear to ear after the tune .
No tranny mods as of yet are avaliable.

So the tunes from Livernois are safe for the stock half shafts?

Welcome to EBPF!!
:WELCOME:
Glad to have you with us.

Some members have 40-50K on their tuned SHOs and are their DDs (like mine).  The only transmission problem I've personally heard of was 4DR's flex at over 600 WHP (= about 700+ CHP)!   If you can live with 400-450HP don't give it another worry.. No tranny rebuild kits I know of yet. Pick your tuner... Most here are Unleashed or LMS.... personal choices neither one is superior overall.

Welcome to EBPF, glad to have you here!  Plenty of mods for power.  The best thing you can do for your transmission is to make sure your PCM calibration is up-to-date, and that you build PTU (and RDU) fluid changes into your maintenance routine.  Coilovers are available if you really want to plant your suspension.
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Love the white with appearance package. Have any more pictures?  I like the wheels. They don't look like the stock or are they just coated. Enjoy the car!

You have one of my three favorite colors (Black, Silver, and White) on my very favorite car, but I too may be a little biased. I love the EcoBoost Appearance Package on silver and white and I'm so glad I got it on my Tux black. I recently had my grilles color matched and I can't imagine what it would look like without the EAP headlight housings. It surely wouldn't look quite as "sinister".
